When I Can't Sleep, I Get on My Soapbox

Despite the fact that graveyard shifts are seriously affecting my inconsistent sleep pattern, I LOVE my job. The patience and compassion that it requires has given my heart such an incredible increase in love for individuals. I love the busy shifts, I love being pushed to my limits and challenged, I love building trusting relationships with the people I care for, I love laying down my pride for a higher purpose each time I work. I  am so glad I did this, and I have my sights set high on becoming an R.N. And if there is a different plan in store for me, I at least know that my life has to be dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. It's the only way I feel complete!
